Celebrating July 1st, expressing gratitude to the Party and striving for the future
In recent years, the Party branch of Xuzhou Special Gas Plant has consistently adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, solidly promoting the deep integration of Party building with production and operations. By strengthening production safety supervision and promoting the integration of Party building with business operations, it has played a vital role as a grassroots bastion in the coordinated development of the industrial chain. Furthermore, it has achieved remarkable results in ideological, organizational, and work style development, earning it the honorary titles of “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization” and “Outstanding Party Worker” from the higher-level Party committee for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
For a long time, Wang Shuai, Chairman of the Company, has prioritized Party building as the guiding force for the company’s high-quality development. He has focused on fostering a harmonious relationship between Party building and business operations, promoting mutual advancement. To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Company’s Party branch organized a series of activities in the Party Member Activity Room titled “Celebrating July 1st, Expressing Gratitude to the Party, and Striving Forward into the Future.” All Party members deepened their work style through the “Four Ones” campaign.
A special study session
Party Branch Secretary Wen Tongyuan led all Party members in reviewing the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulations and their latest implementation details, focusing on the “Five Prohibitions on Business Reception.” The meeting thoroughly implemented the Party Central Committee’s “Notice on Carrying out Thorough Party-Wide Study and Education on the Implementation of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulations,” clarified centralized study arrangements, and laid out an integrated approach for “study, investigation, and rectification.” Since the beginning of this year, the Party branch has strictly implemented the “first item on the agenda” system, organizing numerous Party member sessions for in-depth study of the Party’s lines, principles, policies, and important directives from higher authorities, as well as activities promoting revolutionary values, such as visits to the Huaihai Campaign Memorial Hall. Through various methods, including thematic study and on-site teaching, the Party ensures that all Party members maintain a high degree of ideological, political, and practical alignment with the Central Committee.
A warning education
All members watched educational videos such as “The Eight Regulations Changing China” and “Typical Issues of Illegal Eating and Drinking Seriously Violating the Central Committee’s Eight Regulations.” Through this warning learning experience, they strengthened the Party’s work style and enforced Party discipline. All Party members should strictly implement the organizational life system and conduct criticism and self-criticism in a serious manner. At the same time, the Party branch will continue to strictly control the “entry gate” of Party members, strengthen daily education, management and supervision of Party members, and continue to carry out anti-corruption warning education to ensure the advancement and purity of the Party membership.
A cultural seminar
Focusing on the theme of “Eight Regulations and Corporate Integrity Culture,” representatives from each Party group spoke based on their specific positions. A sales representative shared, “As a sales representative at Huazhong Gas, I deeply understand that the Central Committee’s Eight Regulations are not a ‘tightening curse’ constraining development, but rather a ‘golden key’ to enhancing core competitiveness. In the unique field of industrial gases, we have made integrity a core sales tactic through ‘three transformations’: transforming disciplinary requirements into customer trust, thriftiness into cost advantages, and a pragmatic approach into value-added services. Going forward, we will continue to deepen our ‘clean marketing’ model, making Party conduct and discipline building a powerful tool for market expansion, and setting a new standard for sales in the gas industry with integrity and responsibility!”
While promoting high-quality enterprise development, the Party branch also focuses on ensuring the basic living standards of employees. By firmly establishing a sense of purpose, the branch regularly engages with employees, collects their opinions and suggestions, and addresses their pressing needs, such as improving canteen food, renovating dormitories, arranging school enrollment for their children, and supporting employees in need. Providing convenient services for frontline employees has enhanced their sense of belonging and well-being, fostering a harmonious and progressive atmosphere.
A pioneer commendation
After democratic recommendation and branch review, a total of 9 people were awarded the honorary titles of “Party Member Pioneer Post,” “Top Ten Party Member Role Models,” “Theoretical Learning Model,” “Outstanding Party Affairs Worker,” and “Party Affairs Cooperation Pioneer” in 2024. Branch Secretary Wen Tongyuan presented the commendation certificates on the spot, emphasizing the need to continue to give play to the exemplary effect of “recognizing one and driving a group.” By selecting politically strong and outstanding Party members as role models, establishing a “1+N” pairing and mentoring mechanism, and transforming the exemplary deeds of advanced Party members into replicable working methods, the awareness of pioneering and striving for excellence among all Party members will be stimulated, creating a strong atmosphere of “learning from the advanced, striving to be advanced, and surpassing the advanced,” and effectively enhancing the cohesion and combat effectiveness of our grassroots Party organizations.
In the next stage, the Party branch will focus on the core goal of “strengthening Party building leadership and deepening business integration” and combine it with the mission and vision of “boosting high-quality development” to promote the following work: strengthen the ideological and political construction of Party members and carry out special study and education; optimize the construction of grassroots organizations and improve the standardization level of branches; promote the deep integration of Party building and production and operation; improve the assessment and incentive mechanism, and explore advanced models to play a demonstration role; at the same time, focus on the needs of the masses, deepen the practical activities of “I do practical things for the masses”, and ensure that the effectiveness and innovation of Party building work are improved simultaneously.
Standing at a new historical starting point, the Party branch will continue to play the role of a fighting fortress, unite and lead all Party members and employees, and contribute to the realization of the corporate vision of “becoming the preferred gas service provider for advanced industries.”
